During our Key West trip we were craving sushi and Thai food. We asked a few locals and they recommended Misohappy Sushi and Thai, located at 504 Southard Street. The place is def a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it. Once you walk in, you will pick up on the artsy vibe. You will see the Sushi Chefs at work right in front of you creating their tantalizing creations. The Chefs get their rice for the rolls from a gigantic bowl of rice that you can easily see when you walk in. We liked the coziness of the place and the friendly staff and servers. So, the food - Ah-mazing!!! We were a decent sized group so we decided to do family style on the sushi. We started with spicy edamame to get our palets ready to crush some sushi. We ordered: Mango Tango roll, Rainbow Supreme roll, Crunchy Munchy roll, Salso roll and Mexican rolls to name a few. I'm the only vegetarian so I had the Vegetable roll(asparagus, cucumber and avocado :) delish!!!

Got the hamachi jalapeños, smokie roll and crazy roll with some Sapporo. The hamachi and Sapporo hits different when eaten and drank together. Staff is friendly, nice and cozy. Good vibes with good background music. Been coming here since 2022, and still coming back often.

Stopped here for lunch during a girls’ trip with my cousins, and we loved it! We ordered: Thai Basil Rice with Tofu – so tasty, perfectly spiced, and the tofu was incredibly soft. Pad Thai with Tofu – flavorful and satisfying. Vegetable Roll (asparagus, cucumber, avocado, mango) – fresh and delicious. Sticky Rice with Mango & Coconut Milk – the perfect dessert to end the meal. Overall, great flavors and a really enjoyable experience!

Good is good, have a good variety of different types of food. We ordered sushi, lobster noodle bowl, grilled squid, whole fish, sashimi and bento boxes. The noodle for the lobster noodle soup can be better, otherwise, everything else is great. This is our second time there. Good experience.

Did not expect to find sushi this good in Key West. Super fast service, massive rolls, and really fresh fish. Everything came out quick and tasted amazing. If you like generous portions and great sushi, don’t miss this place.

This is an amazing sushi spot! The sushi is soooo fresh and the servings are bigger than any other sushi spot we have been to. Haden was our server and he guided us like an expert on what we should order based on our likes and dislikes. We ordered the Ocean Roll, Spicy Yellow Tail, and the Salmon and Avocado Roll. They were all amazing! The Salmon roll was our favorite as it was soooo fresh it was like butter. The Cheff gave us a starter salad that was fresh and delicious with 3 types of fish. If you are in Key West near Duval Street and want sushi, this is the place to go!

Fantastic dining experience! Miso happy, indeed! I went with a small group of friends while we spend the day in Key West as a part of a last minute stop for dinner. So happy we did stop in and were lucky enough to grab seats at the counter. The restaurant was PACKED and I totally understand why after having dinner. The service was awesome. Our server was quick, kind, and very funny. She was ok top of everything from taking our orders to making sure everything was okay throughout the evening. For such a busy restaurant during dinner service I was impressed with how the staff kept everything running smoothly. The dining room was also reasonably clean. The atmosphere is CUTE! Warms woods, modern touches, and a clear nod to not only south Asian heritage but also to the Florida Keys. The dining area is fairly tight but there’s dining tables and a sushi counter on the main level as well as a small dining room in the upstairs loft. The food was top notch. I was a little concerned it would be mediocre given it is a fusion restaurant offering Thai and sushi which are two totally different cuisines. Calm those nerves because the Thai was GREAT! I had the panang curry with veggies along with a mango martini. The drink was well balanced and incredibly smooth. The entree was maybe one of the best panang curries I’ve had in a long time. Bursting with a balance of flavor that made me polish off the whole bowl even though I was full. My partner ordered the Lad na with chicken and a lychee martini. He also raved about his food and would happily order it again. Our friends loved their sushi roll was HUGE and also loved their meals. For those concerned with vegan and vegetarian options, yes, this restaurant can accommodate you! Many of the dishes can be altered to be meet your dietary needs. If you’re in Key West I highly suggest giving Misohappy Sushi and Thai a try! You leave happy campers - filling your stomachs and souls. P.S. this place is pretty popular so if you’re planning for a dinner I’d highly recommend making a reservation or getting there early because it fills up fast. We stopped in on a Thursday evening and we were lucky to grab counter seats after waiting 15 mins.
